Nampally Court Orders Allu Arjun to Appear Personally in Sandhya Theatre Stampede Case

The Nampally Court has ordered actor Allu Arjun to make a personal court appearance on Monday in connection with the stampede case at Sandhya Theatre at RTC X Roads. The directive comes after the local police filed a formal chargesheet detailing the incident, which occurred during a film premiere.

According to official court records, the police have named Allu Arjun as Accused 11 (A11) in the filed chargesheet. The document names a total of 23 individuals, including members of the Sandhya Theatre management, as being connected to the stampede case.

The legal proceedings trace back to the night of December 4, 2024, when a major stampede broke out at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of the movie Pushpa 2. The incident led to a heated legal battle for the actor. Following the event, Allu Arjun was sentenced to a 14-day remand by the Nampally court, which resulted in him being held at the Chanchalguda prison before he secured his release.

To counter the charges, Allu Arjun moved the Telangana High Court, seeking a complete dismissal of the case filed against him. He filed a quash petition and subsequently submitted an urgent lunch motion petition in the High Court after being taken to a police station by the police.

Despite his efforts to have the case dismissed in the High Court, the Nampally Court has proceeded with the case, ordering the actor to present himself in person this coming Monday.
