MMC Commissioner Inspects Sanitation and Waste Clearance in Fatehnagar

Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) Commissioner T Vinay Krishna Reddy conducted a detailed inspection of sanitation, garbage vulnerable point (GVP) clearance, road margins, traffic movement, and construction and demolition (C&D) waste management along Fatehnagar and Sivalayam Road in Hyderabad.

During the inspection, the commissioner directed civic officials to enforce 100 per cent daily door-to-door garbage collection and ensure regular lifting of waste from all designated collection points.

Officials were also ordered to clear road obstructions and encroachments to maintain smooth traffic movement, alongside taking immediate steps for the clearance and disposal of C&D waste in the area.

Reddy further instructed staff to clear accumulated sand along road margins and ensure it is suitably reused wherever feasible. Emphasising the need to keep the stretches clean, the commissioner stressed continuous field monitoring by officials to prevent recurring dumping and traffic bottlenecks along the inspected routes.
