MLA Demands Pending Dues Clearance For Secunderabad Cantonment Booth Level Officers

Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Narayanan Sri Ganesh on Monday raised concerns over unpaid dues for election staff, requesting officials to clear pending payments for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) immediately. The MLA raised these issues during an all-party meeting held at the office of the Electoral Registration Officer in Secunderabad Cantonment.
During the meeting, which was also attended by Sanki Ravinder Babu, Sri Ganesh urged the election authorities to address various voter complaints linked to the ongoing SIR-2026 electoral-roll revision.
"The pending dues should be released immediately and justice should be done to the BLOs," Sri Ganesh told the officials.
The meeting participants highlighted several difficulties and problems faced by both the voters and the field staff during the revision exercise. They sought prompt action on these complaints from the authorities.
In addition to raising these issues, the delegation submitted a set of suggestions to the election officials. These recommendations were designed to make the electoral-roll revision process more transparent, simple, and fair for all parties involved.
Sanki Ravinder Babu stated that the delegation placed these field-level difficulties before the authorities to request steps that would reduce the inconvenience faced by voters. He noted that the suggestions focused on making the revision process easier to access. Furthermore, the proposals aimed to ensure fair treatment for both voters and the election staff working across the Secunderabad Cantonment.
