MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, CMC Chief Meet Serilingampally RWAs to Resolve Civic Issues

On Saturday, Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi and Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner G Srijana led a joint interaction with local Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) in Serilingampally, Hyderabad. The meeting was organized to discuss key civic issues, review infrastructure needs, and address the primary concerns of the local residents.

The civic officials interacted directly with the residents and RWA representatives to assess public concerns on the ground. A major focus of the discussion was the development of local parks, open gyms, and public open spaces, alongside the urgent removal of encroachments on amenity spaces.

Residents also raised critical issues regarding local transit and safety, including road connectivity, pending road works, and the installation of speed breakers. Additionally, the attendees discussed the status of storm water drains, desilting requirements, drinking water supply, and ongoing mosquito control measures. Street lighting, sanitation, and the overall improvement of civic amenities in the neighborhood were also featured during the discussions.

Following the interaction, CMC Commissioner G Srijana directed the concerned departments to take up the discussed issues on a priority basis. She instructed officials to ensure a coordinated follow-up for the timely resolution of all grievances.

In addition to the meeting in Serilingampally, collaborative environmental efforts took place nearby on Saturday. An NGO organized a lake clean-up drive at Kokapet Kotha Cheruvu. The CMC sanitation team extended its support to the initiative by assisting in the clean-up activity. The civic team ensured that the waste collected during the drive was promptly lifted and transported for proper disposal. Officials noted that such collaborative efforts between citizens, NGOs, and civic teams play an important role in keeping lakes and surroundings clean.
