Miyapur-Alwyn Stretch to Face 180 Days of Traffic Congestion Due to Flyover Work

Traffic congestion is expected for 180 days starting this Friday along the stretch between Miyapur crossroads and Alwyn crossroads in Hyderabad due to major ongoing civic construction projects.

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation is undertaking the construction of a six-lane bi-directional flyover connecting Miyapur crossroads to Alwyn crossroads. The infrastructure project also includes a three-lane uni-directional underpass running from Alwyn crossroads to Hafeezpet, as well as a three-lane stretch connecting Bachupally to Miyapur crossroads.

Authorities stated that heavy congestion is expected to impact vehicular movement during peak hours throughout the 180-day construction timeline.

The Cyberabad traffic police have advised the general public to plan their daily travel accordingly and use alternate routes during the entire construction period. Officials urged motorists to cooperate with traffic personnel on duty to ensure the smoothest possible flow of vehicles, expressing regret for the inconvenience caused to commuters.
