Missing Nagole Woman Found Dead In Durgam Cheruvu As Police Probe Loan Harassment

The body of a 26-year-old missing woman from Nagole was recovered from the Durgam Cheruvu lake in Hyderabad, with police launching an investigation into potential harassment by bank loan recovery agents. The Cyberabad Police identified the deceased as Roja Ramani, who worked as an accountant at a hospital in Madhapur.
The discovery of her body followed a missing person complaint previously lodged by her parents at the Nagole Police Station after she had disappeared.
According to the police, the recovery operation began after they received information that Roja Ramani had allegedly jumped into the lake from the Cable Stayed Bridge. In response to the alert, authorities initiated a search operation at Durgam Cheruvu.
To retrieve the body, emergency teams utilized a hydraulic crane during the search. The operation successfully recovered her body from the lake last Friday.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the authorities suggest that Roja Ramani may have taken the extreme step as a result of alleged harassment from bank loan recovery agents.
The Raidurgam Police have officially registered a case concerning the incident. Investigators are currently probing the exact circumstances and the loan harassment angle that led to her death.
