Miracle Hospitals conducts needle free vaccination camp in Boduppal

Miracle Hospitals for Women and Child in Boduppal organized a two-day needle-free vaccination camp for children to promote painless immunization. The local initiative aimed to address the fear, anxiety, and discomfort commonly associated with childhood vaccinations by introducing a gentler alternative to conventional needle-based injections.
The camp was led by senior pediatricians Dr. Suhas Nalla and Dr. M Swathvik Reddy at the hospital facility in Boduppal. During the two-day event, the medical team administered vaccines using Needle-Free Injection Systems (N-FIS). This technology utilizes controlled, high-pressure jet streams to deliver the vaccine effectively through the skin, completely eliminating the need for traditional needles.
According to the participating doctors, the high-pressure jet stream technology ensures that the vaccine is delivered efficiently without compromising its overall efficacy. By removing the needle from the process, the system significantly improves patient comfort and reduces the distress experienced by young patients.
The initiative in Boduppal reflects a broader trend in pediatric care. For the past few years, several children’s hospitals and pediatricians have been increasingly exploring needle-free vaccine delivery methods as part of routine immunization schedules. This shift is primarily aimed at reducing the anxiety and fear that both children and parents often experience during routine vaccination appointments.
