Minister Sridhar Babu Opens FDR Science Centre at Alwal ZP Girls High School

On Wednesday, Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu officially inaugurated the newly established Foundation for Democratic Reforms (FDR) Science Centre at the ZP Girls' High School in Alwal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district. Speaking at the inaugural event, the minister declared that the state government is fully committed to developing government-run schools to be on par with private corporate educational institutions.

During his address to the students and faculty, Sridhar Babu emphasized that the Telangana government is currently according high priority to both the education and healthcare sectors. He explained that these developmental efforts are specifically aimed at promoting a strong scientific temper, creativity, and innovation among students across the state.

The minister further stated that the state is actively building a robust ecosystem designed to encourage innovation. This ecosystem aims to assist young individuals in transforming their creative ideas into tangible products that offer practical applications for wider society. Sridhar Babu pointed to established state-backed institutions like T-Hub, T-Works, and WE-Hub as key entities that are already providing vital support to local innovators.

Highlighting the rapidly growing importance of innovation and specialized skills in the modern job market, the minister advised the young students to approach their daily education with a scientific outlook. He urged them to develop this perspective by questioning their surroundings, exploring new scientific concepts, and constantly seeking solutions to real-life problems.

In his concluding remarks, Sridhar Babu made an appeal to the leadership of the Foundation for Democratic Reforms. He requested the organization to collaborate further with the administration by establishing similar science centres in other government schools across Telangana. The minister assured the FDR of the state government's full cooperation and support in executing these future educational initiatives.
