Milad Peace Juloos from Charminar Marks Milad-un-Nabi Celebrations in Hyderabad

Muslims across Hyderabad observed Milad-un-Nabi with religious meetings, community blood donation camps, and grand processions, with the central Milad Peace Juloos scheduled to begin from Charminar at 1 p.m. The occasion marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed and is observed on the 12th day of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic Hijri calendar.

The Milad Peace Juloos served as the major attraction of the citywide celebrations. Thousands of people were expected to take part in the mega procession starting from Charminar. The planned route takes the gathering through Gulzar Houz, Pathergatti, Madina Building, Nayapul, Darulshifa, Mandi Mir Alam, and Alijah Kotla before finally culminating at Moghalpura.

Several smaller processions coming from various corners of the city were scheduled to merge with the main procession along its path. In addition, separate local processions were planned across different neighbourhoods, including Golconda, Borabanda, Erragadda, Sanathnagar, Hafeezpet, and Bowenpally.

A series of religious gatherings and public meetings were also organised to mark the day. The All India Tameer-e-Millat arranged a major public meeting at the Numaish Grounds in Nampally, with several eminent personalities expected to participate. Similar religious meetings were held at multiple locations throughout the city.

Multiple organisations conducted blood donation drives as part of the celebrations. The FOCUS organisation held a blood donation camp at the Asafia Library in Afzalgunj, scheduled to continue until 5 p.m. Other blood donation camps were organised at the Charminar Bus Stand and in Vijay Nagar Colony.

The Hyderabad Police implemented elaborate security arrangements across the city to maintain order during the events. Special teams and surveillance personnel were deployed, while authorities monitored the procession routes and other sensitive areas using drone-based surveillance, CCTV cameras, and camera-mounted vehicles.
