Masab Tank Police Arrest 5 for Abetting 24-Year-Old Man's Suicide at First Lancer

The Masab Tank police in Hyderabad have arrested five individuals in connection with the death of 24-year-old Mir Sofiyan Ali, also known as Adil, who jumped from an apartment building in the First Lancer area.

According to the police, the arrested persons have been identified as Mohd Hanzala Pasha alias Sofiyan, Mohd Isaq Uddin, Musthafa Khan alias Furquan, Mohd Nawaaz, and MD Imran Khan.

Investigators stated that Mir Sofiyan Ali was allegedly subjected to persistent pressure and humiliation by the group over an issue involving a damaged motorcycle.

Despite the 24-year-old reportedly warning the group that he would take his own life if the intimidation continued, the suspects allegedly persisted with their demands and pressure.

Following the harassment, Sofiyan went to the seventh-floor terrace of an apartment complex located at First Lancer and jumped. He was shifted for emergency medical care but died while undergoing treatment.

The Masab Tank police subsequently took all five accused individuals into custody on charges of abetting the suicide.
