Manam Chocolate Launches 100-Square-Foot Beverage Bar in Banjara Hills

Manam Chocolate has opened a new 100-square-foot chocolate beverage bar at its Karkhana in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The new space allows patrons to order from a selection of more than 24 hot, cold, plant-based beverages and shakes, with options to customise drinks using 14 distinct craft chocolate couvertures.

Located inside the Banjara Hills facility, the beverage bar features an L-shaped counter designed to give visitors a direct view of the preparation process while interacting with chocolate beverage baristas. Drinks are prepared fresh on order, with preparation times generally taking under 10 minutes.

Customers can build their own beverages by choosing from 14 chocolate couvertures that range from white and caramelised white chocolate to 100 per cent dark chocolate. The menu allows patrons to specify whether they want their drinks served hot or cold, along with choices between regular milk and alternate milk options.

The menu spans five distinct drink categories. Featured options include the Hazelnut Praline Latte, Cinnamon Spiced Chocolate, Chilli Milk Chocolate, Iced Tiramisu Latte, Date Iced Dark Chocolate, and the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Shake. The plant-based range includes drinks such as the Blueberry Oat Iced Chocolate and Chakkarakeli Banana Iced Chocolate, alongside other offerings like the Maple Pecan Hot Chocolate, Raspberry Brownie Fudge Shake, and Italian Hazelnut Shake.

The beverages are crafted using Indian cacao sourced primarily from the West Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh, as well as couvertures produced from cacao originating in Kerala.

Commenting on the launch, Ruby Islam, Head of Product and Innovation at Manam Chocolate, stated that the beverage bar aims to present Indian craft chocolate as a layered flavour experience and demonstrate its versatility. Founder Chaitanya Muppala added that the bar extends the brand's approach of treating chocolate as an ingredient, a craft, and a story of origin.

The beverage bar at Manam Chocolate Karkhana in Banjara Hills is open daily from 10 am to 11:30 pm. Home delivery services are available through Swiggy and Zomato, with the price for two estimated at Rs 1,200 for two beverages and a shared pastry or savoury item.
