Man Dies by Suicide in Santoshnagar After Dispute With Wife and In-Laws

A man allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Santoshnagar on Saturday following a quarrel with his wife and in-laws, the police said.
The deceased was identified as Abbas Ali. According to police officials, Abbas had been married for seven years, and the couple has three children. The couple had reportedly been dealing with marital differences for some time, and his wife had been residing at her mother's house for the past two months.
On Saturday afternoon, Abbas visited his in-laws' residence, where an argument broke out between him, his wife, and his mother-in-law. Following the altercation, he left the house and returned to his own home in Santoshnagar.
Later in the evening, family members discovered Abbas hanging from the ceiling fan at his house. He was found unresponsive, and the family immediately alerted the local police.
Family members suspect that Abbas may have slipped into depression as a result of the ongoing marital issues, which they believe contributed to the incident.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
