Man Allegedly Murdered by Wife and Nephew in Choutuppal Mandal

A 36-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his wife and nephew on August 23 in Choutuppal mandal of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district after he uncovered their extramarital relationship, local police reported.
The deceased was identified as Rapolu Danayya, a resident of Ankireddygudem village. Danayya and his wife, Sharada, had been married for 15 years and have three children together.
According to police and local reports, the incident took place when Sharada accompanied Danayya to an agricultural field on August 23. After some time at the field, Sharada reportedly informed her husband that she was leaving briefly to attend nature’s call. Instead, she went to meet Shiva, who is the son of Danayya’s brother.
Becoming suspicious due to Sharada’s prolonged absence, Danayya went searching for his wife and allegedly caught her together with Shiva. An enraged Danayya confronted the pair and assaulted them using a stick. During the altercation, Shiva allegedly seized the stick from Danayya and hit him on the head. As Danayya attempted to flee the scene, Shiva allegedly chased him and attacked him once more with a large stone, causing fatal injuries.
Danayya succumbed to his severe injuries on the spot, officials confirmed.
Following the fatal attack, Sharada reportedly attempted to conceal the killing by informing Danayya’s brother that her husband had suddenly gone missing. The incident came to light after an individual named Srinu noticed Danayya’s body lying in the agricultural field and immediately alerted the local police.
Police personnel arrived at the scene and, suspecting Sharada’s involvement based on initial circumstances, detained her for questioning. During the inquiry, Sharada allegedly confessed to her role in Danayya’s murder and named Shiva as her accomplice in the crime.
Police have officially registered a case regarding the incident and launched a detailed investigation into the murder. Further details regarding the case are awaited.
