Malkajgiri Commissioner Inspects Key Junctions and Reviews Sanitation

Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner T Vinay Krishna Reddy inspected key junctions near the TIMS Rajiv Gandhi statue and AWHO Colony on Saturday to review local sanitation arrangements and proposed junction improvement works.

During the inspection, the Commissioner assessed civic conditions across the areas and issued directives to municipal officials to expedite developmental initiatives. Officials were instructed to fast-track proposed junction improvements to enhance road infrastructure and ensure better transit.

Sanitation management formed a central focus of the review. The Commissioner directed field staff to maintain daily garbage lifting from households as well as secondary collection points, emphasizing the need to strengthen overall sanitation measures across the locality.

To facilitate smoother traffic movement, authorities were instructed to clear encroachments located around major intersections. Commissioner Reddy also directed officials to submit the High Tension (HT) Line Road Development Plan (RDP) to the Standing Committee for formal approval.
