Malkajgiri Commissioner Inspects Free-Left Works at Uppal and Habsiguda

Malkajgiri Municipal Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy inspected proposed free-left improvements at Uppal Junction and the Habsiguda LFJC intersection, reviewing measures aimed at easing congestion and improving traffic circulation across the busy corridors.

During the inspection, the commissioner directed civic officials to formulate comprehensive junction improvement proposals. The planned upgrades will focus on establishing safer road geometry, facilitating smoother vehicular movement, and ensuring the optimal use of available road space to alleviate bottleneck points.

As part of the initiative to reclaim road space, authorities carried out demolition work at Habsiguda Junction to clear unauthorised constructions and parking obstructions. The removal of these encroachments was undertaken to restore unhindered vehicular movement and bolster safety for commuters navigating the intersection.

Officials were instructed to prioritise long-term design solutions that prevent traffic snarls and improve overall transit conditions for daily motorists moving through Uppal and Habsiguda.
