Mailardevpally Police Recover 34 Traced Mobile Phones Worth Rs 5.1 Lakh

The Mailardevpally police have traced and recovered 34 mobile phones valued at Rs 5.1 lakh that had been reported lost or stolen across various locations in Hyderabad. The recovered devices were subsequently handed back to their original owners following verification.

The recovery operation was carried out based on multiple complaints lodged directly at the Mailardevpally police station as well as reports registered through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal.

During the investigation, police teams utilized available technical and investigative resources to track the movement and location of the devices. Sustained technical surveillance enabled officers to identify and retrieve the mobile handsets from various areas where they were being used.

Following the retrieval, police officials conducted a thorough verification process, matching the details of the recovered handsets with the data and ownership credentials submitted by the complainants. After completing all the required legal and documentation formalities, the devices were formally returned to the rightful owners.

Senior officials noted that the recovery of the 34 mobile phones was achieved through coordinated efforts and teamwork among the officers and personnel stationed at the Mailardevpally police station.
