Low-Pressure Area to Trigger Moderate to Intense Rains Across Telangana

A low-pressure area over West Bengal is set to trigger a temporary spell of active rainfall across North, West, and East Telangana today. The atmospheric system is expected to bring widespread moderate to intense rains to several districts, with precipitation continuing through the night and into the morning hours of the following day.

Districts likely to witness widespread moderate to intense rainfall in the coming hours include Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, and Bhadradri Kothagudem. Similar intense spells are forecasted for Siddipet, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Medak, Jangaon, Hanamkonda, and Mahabubabad.

In other districts across the state, weather conditions are expected to bring isolated to scattered rainfall.

For Hyderabad, the weather is expected to remain dry through the evening. However, scattered spells of rain are forecasted to develop during the night and are likely to continue until the morning hours of the next day.
