Lottery Draws for 7,340 Indiramma Houses in Hyderabad to Begin on August 27

The Telangana government will conduct constituency-wise lottery draws from August 27, 2026, to select beneficiaries for 7,340 Indiramma Houses across 16 Assembly constituencies in the Hyderabad Core Urban Region (CURE) limits. The process will be streamed live on YouTube and other platforms.

Telangana Housing Board Vice Chairman V.P. Gautham announced that the lotteries will be conducted for four constituencies every day in the presence of media personnel and officials from the Revenue and Housing departments.

The draws will follow reservation guidelines for applicants from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), persons with disabilities, government outsourcing staff, class IV employees, and sanitation workers. A waiting list will also be drawn up for each category through the lottery system.

The state government received more than 60,000 applications for the 7,340 affordable flats between July 21 and August 15, 2026. The flats are being constructed in housing towers, with each unit featuring a built-up area of 528 square feet and a carpet area of 400 square feet comprising a hall, a kitchen, and a bedroom. The government will provide a subsidy of ₹5 lakh per flat, while selected beneficiaries will need to pay ₹6 lakh in installments.

Authorities are currently verifying the submitted applications. Officials are examining whether applicants already own a flat or plot within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits, confirming their residency status in Hyderabad, and assessing other eligibility parameters.

The list of applicants is being displayed online on the MeeSeva portal and Telangana Housing Board websites. Citizens can raise objections against the entries until the evening of August 23, 2026. Following the scrutiny of these objections, the final list of candidates eligible to participate in the lotteries will be published on August 25, 2026.

Applicants can check their application status by visiting the 'CURE status' section on the Housing Board website or the MeeSeva portal, where they can also submit claims if they wish to contest decisions. For queries and assistance, applicants can contact the helpline at 040 24603572.
