Langar Houz Resident Syed Mohiuddin Dies of Snake Bite in Chevella

A 37-year-old resident of Langar Houz in Hyderabad, Syed Mohiuddin, died on Thursday morning, June 18, 2026, after being bitten by a snake in Mudimyal village, located in the Chevella mandal of Vikarabad district.

According to local authorities, Mohiuddin had traveled from Hyderabad to Mudimyal village on Wednesday night for some work. The incident occurred during the early hours of Thursday when he stepped out of the house to use the washroom.

While he was outside, a snake reportedly bit him. Mohiuddin immediately alerted his relatives about the snake bite. His family members acted quickly and rushed him to the Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad to receive emergency medical treatment.

Despite being admitted for treatment, Mohiuddin's condition deteriorated, and he passed away at around 7:30 AM on Thursday morning while undergoing medical care.

The Chevella police have registered a case regarding the incident and have started an official investigation. Following the tragedy, Mohiuddin's body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination. After the autopsy was completed, his body was handed back over to his family members.
