Kulsumpura Police Hold 'Arrive Alive' Road Safety Drive at Gudimalkapur Market

The Kulsumpura traffic police on Sunday conducted the "Arrive Alive" road safety awareness programme at the Gudimalkapur wholesale market in Hyderabad, sensitising more than 240 commercial drivers to essential road safety practices and traffic regulations.

The drive focused on e-drivers engaged in transporting vegetables across the Gudimalkapur market, while also engaging members of the market committee and drivers of four-wheeled commercial vehicles.

During the session, participants were briefed on safety guidelines and advised not to operate any motor vehicle without a valid driving licence, according to Station House Officer (SHO) M. Rajendra Prasad.

Police instructed drivers never to permit minors to operate vehicles under any circumstances. The participants were also directed to always wear protective helmets while riding two-wheelers and to strictly refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.

Officers emphasised the need to abide by traffic rules, road signs, and regulations at all times. SHO Rajendra Prasad urged all participants to adhere to traffic laws to prevent road accidents and contribute to safer city roads.
