KT Rama Rao visits Telangana martyr Yadi Reddy's family in Moinabad

BRS working president KT Rama Rao visited the family of Telangana martyr Yadi Reddy at their residence in Pedda Mangalaram, Moinabad, on Sunday to offer condolences and assure them of the party's continued support. Accompanied by former minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy and other senior party leaders, Rama Rao met with Yadi Reddy’s mother and brother to express solidarity and honor the memory of the statehood activist.
During the interaction, Rama Rao emphasized that the immense sacrifices made by Telangana martyrs like Yadi Reddy would be remembered for generations. He recalled that Yadi Reddy had taken the extreme step of sacrificing his life directly in front of the Parliament in New Delhi. This act, Rama Rao noted, was done in the hope of forcing the Central government to take immediate action on the long-standing demand for a separate Telangana state.
Upon learning about the ongoing health struggles of Yadi Reddy’s mother and brother during the conversation, Rama Rao promised immediate medical aid. Speaking on behalf of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), he assured the family that the party would take full responsibility for their healthcare needs, ensuring they receive all necessary medical treatments to regain their health.
The BRS working president also highlighted the past welfare measures provided to the family by the previous KCR-led government. Rama Rao recalled that after Yadi Reddy's demise, the BRS administration had provided a secure government job to his brother, as part of its policy to support the families of all Telangana martyrs who laid down their lives for the statehood movement.
In addition to the employment, the previous government had also allotted a 500-square-yard plot of land to the family and extended a financial assistance package of Rs 10 lakh. Rama Rao reiterated that the KCR administration had consistently stood firmly behind the families of hundreds of Telangana martyrs during its tenure.
