Krithi Shetty Discusses Upcoming Telugu Project With Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram

Actress Krithi Shetty spoke about her upcoming film projects, including a Telugu festive film directed by Anil Ravipudi that stars Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram and is slated for a Sankranthi release.

Shetty, who made her acting debut in Uppena, also confirmed that she is shooting for an upcoming Tamil film directed by Ashok Kumar, alongside other projects in development.

Speaking about her career and personal influences, Shetty discussed her role as the South India brand ambassador for jewellery brand Indriya. She noted that her interest in fashion and traditional jewellery stemmed from her mother, who works as a fashion designer. Shetty stated that she prefers temple jewellery and maximalist styling.

Reflecting on roles she aspires to take on, Shetty cited Anushka Shetty's portrayal of Devasena in Baahubali as a dream role, expressing an interest in playing a warrior princess. She also identified Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit as major acting inspirations.

Outside of filming, Shetty stated that she trains in classical dance forms including Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Kathak, alongside martial arts, to develop performance skills for future screen roles.
