Kondapur Resident Loses Gold and Diamond Jewellery on Bus to Guntur

A mechanical engineer residing in Kondapur has lodged a police complaint stating that gold and diamond jewellery was stolen from his luggage while he was travelling with his wife on an Amaravati bus from Alwin crossroads in Hyderabad to SVN Colony in Guntur.
According to the complainant, identified as Sridhar Babu, the stolen valuables comprised an uncut diamond necklace, a gold bangle, and a gold earring. The ornaments had been placed securely inside a plastic box within his travel bag for the journey.
The victim stated that he suspects an organised gang opened the zip of his bag during the trip, removed the jewellery box, and then placed the bag back in its original position to avoid raising immediate suspicion.
Sridhar Babu noted in his complaint that he suspected two co-passengers who were seated in the rear rows of the bus.
Following the complaint, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the theft. Officers are currently working to trace the movements and identities of the suspects using the bus booking IDs and other travel details.
