Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy Dismisses Rumors of Distancing From Congress

Choutuppal in Yadadri-Bhongir district of Telangana was the venue on Sunday where Munugode Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy addressed the media to clarify his political stance and dismiss rumors about his relationship with the Congress party. Speaking after inaugurating a local eye camp organized by the Komatireddy Susheelamma Foundation, Reddy stated that there was no truth to reports suggesting he was distancing himself from the party.

The MLA advised the Telangana state government that it must govern in line with the aspirations of the people if it wishes to retain power in the next elections. He emphasized the importance of aligning governance with public expectations to ensure political success in the upcoming polls.

Addressing the speculations surrounding his loyalty, Reddy asserted that he has consistently attended all party meetings. He stated that he remains fully committed to his duties and is actively working to strengthen the party's organization within his constituency. He reassured supporters that there would be no compromise when it comes to protecting the party cadre and building a stronger foundation for the Congress.

Reddy also took the opportunity to clarify his previous remarks regarding the appointment of the Yadagirigutta temple trust board. He explained that those specific comments were prompted by unique circumstances at the time and were not intended as an attack against either the Congress party or the state government. While he admitted to raising objections to certain administrative decisions, he clarified that these objections were not directed at the party itself.

Looking ahead to the next elections, Reddy expressed his determination to work toward returning the Congress to power. He also issued a call to action for all party workers, urging them to work dedicatedly to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister in the upcoming national elections.
