Kollapur PG College Principal Absconds After Student Bites Genitals to Escape Assault

An MBA graduate at a PG College in Kollapur town, Nagarkurnool district, bit the college principal's private parts in self-defense to escape an attempted sexual assault on the night of July 7. The principal, identified as Dr. Marke Poloneyes, suffered bleeding injuries and fled the campus after fellow students discovered him naked in his room.

The victim, a resident of Jagityal district, had recently completed his MBA from the PG College, which is affiliated with Palamuru University. He had returned to the Kollapur campus to collect his transfer certificate (TC) to pursue higher studies. Upon meeting Dr. Poloneyes to secure the document, the student was allegedly subjected to physical and mental harassment.

According to the victim's account, the principal demanded "unnatural sexual acts" from him. On the night of July 7, Dr. Poloneyes allegedly summoned the student to his room and forced him to undress. When the principal attempted to sexually assault him, the student resisted and bit the principal's genitals in self-defense.

The principal began screaming in pain due to the bleeding injuries. Hearing the commotion, other college students rushed to the room, where they found the principal naked. Dr. Poloneyes panicked, hid in a bathroom, and subsequently fled the college. Some students captured the aftermath of the incident on camera, and the footage later surfaced online.

Following the incident, student union leaders staged protests in front of the college gates. The protestors demanded the immediate dismissal of the principal and his arrest. Student leaders and the victim filed a formal complaint at the Kollapur Police Station.

Local student leaders alleged that Dr. Poloneyes, who has been working at the PG Centre for the past five years, had previously harassed multiple male and female students at the institution.

The Kollapur police have registered a case based on the complaint and launched an investigation. Police officials are currently conducting searches to locate Dr. Poloneyes, who remains absconding.
