KNRUHS Releases MBBS, BDS Final Merit List; First Phase Web Options Open

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) in Hyderabad has released the final merit list of candidates who applied for admission into MBBS and BDS courses under the competent authority quota for the 2026–27 academic year. Alongside the merit list, the university has issued a detailed notification allowing eligible candidates to exercise their web options for the first phase of MBBS counselling, accompanied by the official seat matrix that outlines the distribution of available seats.

Under the schedule released by the university, eligible candidates are permitted to exercise their web options beginning at 6 am on August 29. The window for submitting options will remain open until 12 noon on September 1. KNRUHS has explicitly advised all prospective students to read through the official counselling notification thoroughly and carefully before entering their course and college preferences.

The university has also urged candidates not to wait until the final hours to lock in their preferences, advising them to submit their options well ahead of the September 1 deadline. Furthermore, candidates have been instructed to verify and cross-check all submitted choices to ensure that every preference has been entered accurately. The options submitted during this specified timeframe will be utilized for the first-phase counselling process governing MBBS admissions under the competent authority quota.

Officials noted that while the current notification and option-entry schedule pertain to the first phase of MBBS admissions, the final merit list released by KNRUHS covers all eligible applicants for both MBBS and BDS courses for the academic session.

KNRUHS has further directed candidates to keep track of any new announcements by regularly visiting and checking the official university website. The university indicated that additional notifications, subsequent phases, and further procedural updates regarding the counselling and admission process will be communicated through the platform.
