KCR Hands Over Rs 2.25 Crore Aid to Former MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy Family

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasheker Rao visited Nallabelly in Warangal on Sunday to console the family of former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy. During the visit, Rao paid floral tributes to Peddi's portrait, offered condolences to the bereaved family members, and handed over cheques totalling ₹2.25 crore as financial assistance while assuring them of the party's continued support.

Recalling Peddi's long association with him since the days of the Telangana statehood movement, Rao said his close associate had stood by him through difficult periods. He highlighted that Peddi had made significant contributions both to the movement for statehood and to the building of the BRS, stating that his dedicated services would always be remembered.

Rao stated that he considered it his personal responsibility to support Peddi's family during this time and reiterated that the BRS would stand by them in the future.

The former chief minister's visit drew large crowds of BRS workers and supporters to Nallabelly, with main roads in the area packed with people who gathered seeking a glimpse of Rao.
