KCR Extends Raksha Bandhan Greetings to People of Telangana

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao extended Raksha Bandhan greetings to the people of Telangana on Thursday on the eve of the festival.

In a statement released in Hyderabad, Chandrashekhar Rao termed the brother-sister connection as one of the most cherished human bonds, describing the relationship between siblings as timeless.

The former Chief Minister recalled that Raksha Bandhan holds a special place in India's family, cultural, and traditional life.

Chandrashekhar Rao also stated that the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam can be achieved only when people across the country shun hatred and selfishness, and live together in a spirit of fraternity.
