Kalvakuntla Kavitha Demands BRS Distribute Rs 1400 Crore to Telangana Martyrs Families

Kalvakuntla Kavitha Demands BRS Distribute Rs 1400 Crore to Telangana Martyrs Families

During a media address on her political tour in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha ruled out rejoining the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and demanded that the party's Rs 1,400 crore funds be distributed to the families of Telangana martyrs. Kavitha accused the BRS leadership, including her brother KT Ramarao (KTR) and cousin T Harish Rao, of amassing these funds through corrupt deals with Andhra contractors.

Addressing the media in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Kavitha alleged that the massive fund accumulated by the BRS in its bank accounts was built through corrupt, quid pro quo arrangements. She claimed that the Rs 1,400 crore came from Andhra contractors and demanded that Rs 1 crore each be distributed to the families of Telangana martyrs.

Kavitha dismissed ongoing speculation about her return to her father K. Chandrashekar Rao's party. She stated that she would not rejoin the BRS as long as she is alive, accusing the party of running a malicious campaign against her due to fear of her regular public movements.

Directly targeting BRS working president KTR, Kavitha claimed he engaged in illegal quid pro quo deals to grant permissions to Pradeep Constructions. She also accused senior BRS leader T Harish Rao of financial opportunism.

She also condemned abusive personal attacks against women online, warning that they would break the legs of those crossing lines.

Kavitha promised a complete audit of resources if voted to power, stating that her party would review all lands allotted to Andhra contractors by both the previous KCR government and the current Congress government, promising to take back every square yard.

Additionally, she demanded that private institutions with over 500 students strictly procure milk from the government-run Vijaya Dairy rather than private entities linked to politicians.

Kavitha also targeted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing his administration of being rooted in ego and political vengeance rather than public governance. She further claimed that while the BRS left the windows of corruption open, the ruling Congress party has thrown open the entire door.
