Kachiguda Girl Dies by Suicide at Uppuguda Station After Reprimand Over Phone

A young girl from Kachiguda in Hyderabad died by suicide on Thursday morning after her father reprimanded her over her mobile phone addiction.

According to reports, the incident occurred near the Uppuguda Railway Station, where the girl ended her life by falling under a moving goods train. The extreme step followed an objection raised by her father regarding her continuous mobile phone use.

Upon receiving information about the incident, officials from the Kachiguda Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed to the scene. The police team inspected the railway tracks and the surrounding site.

Following the preliminary inspection, the police shifted the girl's body to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The authorities also alerted her parents regarding the tragedy.

The Uppuguda Railway Police have registered a case in connection with the incident, and further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
