K.T. Rama Rao Challenges Congress Over Unfulfilled Youth Promises in Saroornagar

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over unfulfilled promises from the Congress party's 'Youth Declaration' during an address at Saroornagar in Hyderabad. Speaking at the 'Yuva Sangrama Sadassu', Rama Rao accused the Congress-led state government of failing to deliver on employment opportunities and monthly allowances promised to the unemployed youth of Telangana.
During his address, Rama Rao reminded Gandhi of the 'Youth Declaration' that was unveiled at the exact same Saroornagar venue three years ago. He questioned why major commitments, such as the promise of two lakh government jobs in the first year, a job calendar, and a Rs 4,000 monthly unemployment allowance, had not been fulfilled.
Rama Rao also raised questions regarding other commitments made to the state's youth, including electric scooters for college girls and interest-free loans. He alleged that the Congress government, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, was consumed by scams and corruption instead of creating jobs, describing the current administration's actions as "lootifications" rather than notifications.
The BRS leader further claimed that Telangana was witnessing a "scam calendar" instead of the promised job calendar. He accused Chief Minister Reddy of prioritizing pleasing the Congress high command over addressing the employment needs of local youth.
In a direct challenge to the state government, Rama Rao dared Chief Minister Reddy to provide evidence supporting the government's claim of filling 70,000 fresh government jobs through new recruitment notifications. Rama Rao declared that if the Chief Minister could prove this claim with evidence, he would permanently retire from politics.
He warned that the youth of Telangana were prepared to write a political "death declaration" for the Congress party due to its failure to honor its commitments.
