Jubilee Hills Hosts 'Paropakar 2026' Art Exhibition for Underprivileged Children

A fundraising art exhibition titled ‘Paropakar 2026’ opened at Spirit Connect in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on August 15, bringing together works by some of the country's most prominent modern and contemporary artists to support the education of underprivileged children.

The two-day exhibition was organized to support children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and first-generation learners through the non-profit institution Nachiketa Tapovan. Visitors and art connoisseurs attended the showcase at the Jubilee Hills venue, which ran on August 15 and August 16.

Curated by Sushma Thota, ‘Paropakar 2026’ featured pieces by celebrated Indian artists, including SH Raza, Akbar Padamsee, Krishen Khanna, Himmat Shah, Thota Vaikuntam, and Seema Kohli. The exhibition presented a diverse array of mediums beyond traditional paintings, including artist-approved prints, serigraphs, etchings, ceramics, and sculptures.

The featured artworks were made available across a wide price range to engage different collectors and donors. Smaller serigraphs on display started at around ₹25,000, while select premium works, including sculptures, were priced at up to ₹25 lakh, with proceeds directed toward the charitable educational mission of Nachiketa Tapovan.

The initiative combined fine art with community welfare, providing visitors in Hyderabad an opportunity to acquire works from master artists while contributing to educational initiatives for children in need.
