IT Employee Arrested for Selling MDMA Near Inorbit Mall in Madhapur

The Madhapur police arrested a 23-year-old IT employee for allegedly selling MDMA near Inorbit Mall in Madhapur on Monday night.

The accused has been identified as Sheikh Aman Ahmed. According to police officials, Ahmed was specifically targeting IT professionals in the area to sell the narcotic substance.

During the operation, law enforcement personnel seized 7 grams of MDMA, estimated to be worth approximately Rs 1 lakh, along with a mobile phone from the suspect's possession.

Investigators stated that two alleged drug peddlers, identified as Amir and Raheel, along with a consumer named Madhu, are currently absconding.

A case has been registered by the Madhapur police under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Police stated that active efforts are underway to trace the absconding individuals and establish the full supply chain and distribution network involved in the case.
