The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Abids, has finalised arrangements to mark the Golden Jubilee of the Sri Radha Madan Mohan Mandir with a four-day series of cultural and devotional events at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally.

The celebrations, which commemorate the completion of 50 years of the temple in Abids, are scheduled to run from August 15 to August 18, with daily events taking place between 4 pm and 9 pm.

The opening day on August 15 will feature the official launch of the 50th anniversary commemorative celebrations at the Exhibition Grounds. The evening's schedule includes a bhajan session by an international band, a Srila Prabhupada tribute performance titled 'Yadi Prabhupada Na Hoito', a theatrical performance titled 'Mercy Around the Globe', and a sand art presentation.

On August 16, organisers will launch a coffee table book titled 'Srila Prabhupada’s life & legacy in Hyderabad'. The temple authorities will also deliver a vision presentation outlining future plans, titled 'What’s Next after 50', at the exhibition venue.

Programmes on August 17 will centre on musical and dramatic presentations, including a 108-mridanga performance, a drama titled 'Srila Prabhupada Magic', and a panel discussion.

The final day of celebrations on August 18 will begin with a grand Shobha Yatra starting from the ISKCON temple in Abids at 4.30 pm. Following the procession, cultural events at the Exhibition Grounds will include a classical dance performance titled 'Tarangam: Sri Krishna Leela Tharanagam' by the great-granddaughter of popular sweet maker G Pulla Reddy. The event will also feature a special commemorative plaque ceremony honouring unsung contributors from the past 50 years, concluding with a drone show scheduled for 8.45 pm.
