ISKCON Abids Celebrates Golden Jubilee in Hyderabad with Governor in Attendance

The Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Mandir of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) at Abids in Hyderabad celebrated its Golden Jubilee, marking 50 years of devotion, spiritual activities, and community service.

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, accompanied by his wife Janaki Shukla, attended the milestone event and congratulated the saints, devotees, volunteers, and well-wishers of ISKCON Abids on behalf of the people of Telangana.

Speaking at the gathering, the Governor described the five-decade journey of the Abids temple as a spiritual mission rooted in devotion, service, compassion, and human welfare. He commended the organisation for its sustained commitment to public welfare and spiritual outreach throughout the past fifty years.

Governor Shukla also recalled the pivotal contribution of Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who founded ISKCON in 1966. He noted that the movement founded by Srila Prabhupada has successfully taken the message of Krishna consciousness and spiritual awareness to people across the world.

The celebrations at the Abids mandir saw the participation of several prominent spiritual figures and organisational leaders. Spiritual leader Lokanath Swami attended the event, along with Shri Varad Krishna Das, Shri Mahaman Das, Shri Sitaram Das, and Smt Revati Raman Das.

A large number of revered saints, ISKCON organisers, and devotees also gathered at the temple to take part in the Golden Jubilee ceremonies and celebrate the institution's ongoing spiritual journey in Hyderabad.
