IPACON 2026 on Diabetic Foot Care Begins in Moinabad on August 29

The Indian Podiatry Association (IPA) is hosting IPACON 2026, a national congress dedicated to diabetic foot care and limb salvage, at Firefox Sports and Resorts in Moinabad on August 29 and 30, 2026.
Organised by the IPA Telangana Chapter, the two-day event is structured around the theme 'Redefining Diabetic Foot Care Through Prevention, Preservation and Regeneration'. The conference serves as a major national platform addressing critical challenges in podiatric health and patient outcomes.
According to Dr. A.P.S. Suri, founder and national president of the IPA, the congress will bring together more than 400 delegates from across India and abroad. The participant roster includes diabetologists, endocrinologists, vascular surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, and infectious disease specialists.
In addition to medical and surgical specialists, the event will see participation from wound-care and rehabilitation professionals, podiatrists, foot-care specialists, researchers, academicians, students, and allied healthcare professionals.
A central focus of IPACON 2026 will be practical clinical training through a series of hands-on workshops aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and day-to-day medical practice.
Dr. K.V.N.N. Santosh Murthy, state president of the IPA Telangana Chapter, noted that the scheduled sessions will feature international product demonstrations, advanced wound-healing techniques, and total contact casting.
The practical sessions will also include training in debridement techniques, vascular workshops, and a dedicated wound-care masterclass designed for attending medical practitioners.
