Indiramma Homes Towers Lottery to Begin on August 27 in Hyderabad

The Telangana Housing Board will begin the lottery process for allocating residential units in the newly constructed Indiramma Homes Towers on August 27. The homes have been built by the government within the Outer Ring Road limits of Hyderabad, according to Housing Board Vice-Chairman V.P. Gowtham.

The draw will take place over four consecutive days, concluding on August 30, and will cover four Assembly constituencies each day. Under the pilot project, the Housing Board invited applications for a total of 7,340 homes spread across 16 Assembly constituencies in the region.

Officials are currently scrutinising applications received through MeeSeva centres, online portals, and WhatsApp MeeSeva. Authorities are preparing the final list of eligible candidates after verifying that applicants are permanent residents of Hyderabad and do not already own a flat or residential plot within the Outer Ring Road area.

Applicant details are scheduled to be published online starting Thursday evening on official government portals, including ts.meeseva.telangana.gov.in, tghb.cgg.gov.in, and tghb.telangana.gov.in. Applicants may submit objections regarding the published information until August 23. Following a review of all submitted objections, the final list of eligible applicants will be released on August 25.

The final selection of beneficiaries will take place through the lottery starting August 27. The draw will strictly adhere to mandated reservation categories, covering Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, and differently-abled persons. In addition to the primary allotment, a waiting list comprising 20 per cent of applicants will be prepared for each reservation category, with those individuals also selected through the lottery.
