India's First World Happpiness Summit Scheduled for September 24 in Bengaluru

India's first World Happpiness Summit is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on September 24 at the New Horizon College of Engineering. The event will bring together prominent public figures, including Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, Kiran Bedi, Sonu Sharma, Hema Sardesai, Jai Madaan, and Dr. Saamdu Chetri, to discuss mental well-being, purpose, and the nature of happiness beyond conventional benchmarks of success.

Hosted by Happpy AiR – Atman in Ravi, the Happpiness Ambassador, the summit seeks to convene leaders and experts from entertainment, public service, entrepreneurship, spirituality, wellness, and social leadership. The sessions will focus on addressing what it truly takes to experience happiness amid the pressures of modern life.

The discussions are set to examine happiness beyond financial milestones, social status, and professional achievements. Key topics across the sessions will cover inner peace, relationships, personal fulfilment, and dealing with societal pressures.

Participants will bring insights from their respective fields. Shilpa Shetty and Arjun Kapoor will share viewpoints rooted in entertainment and popular culture. Kiran Bedi, Sonu Sharma, Hema Sardesai, Jai Madaan, and Dr. Saamdu Chetri, who is a pioneer of Bhutan's Gross National Happiness philosophy, will contribute perspectives spanning public administration, enterprise, music, wellness, and philosophical frameworks.

The core theme of the gathering is grounded in Happpy AiR – Atman in Ravi's framework that true happiness involves a combination of Pleasure, Peace, and Purpose, referred to as the three Ps.

Speaking on the concept, Happpy AiR – Atman in Ravi noted that people often spend large parts of their lives preparing to find happiness in the future following an achievement or milestone, emphasizing instead that happiness is not an end destination but an experience accessible in the present moment.
