IMD Forecasts Heavy to Very Heavy Rain Across North and East Telangana

Widespread heavy to very heavy rainfall is set to lash several parts of northern and eastern Telangana due to the influence of a Low-Pressure Area (LPA), according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather agency indicated that the weather system will trigger widespread downpours across the state. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is specifically expected in districts including Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jagtial, Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Nirmal, and Nizamabad.
A large number of other districts are anticipated to experience widespread moderate to heavy rains over the next 24 hours. The districts listed under this forecast include Kamareddy, Sircilla, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, Hanamkonda, Warangal, Jangaon, Suryapet, Khammam, Nalgonda, Vikarabad, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, and Narayanpet.
Other districts across Telangana are expected to receive scattered moderate rainfall during this period.
In Hyderabad, the weather department forecast one or two spells of moderate rain, which are likely to occur starting from the afternoon and continuing through the overnight hours.
