IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall in Five Telangana Districts for Sunday

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall forecast for five districts across Telangana for Sunday, August 23.

According to the weather department's latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Mulugu districts.

Additionally, the IMD warned that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are very likely to take place at isolated locations across several other districts in the state.

Thunderstorm and gusty wind warnings have been issued for Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, and Mahabubnagar districts.

For Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas, the meteorological department stated that the region will see a partly cloudy sky for the next 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are expected to remain around 33 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
