Hyderabad Traffic Police Hold Discussion at KBR Park Ahead of One-Way System

The Hyderabad Traffic Police held an open interactive discussion with morning walkers at KBR Park on Friday morning ahead of the rollout of a proposed one-way traffic system scheduled to take effect around the park from August 18.

The interaction, which began at 7 a.m., was led by Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Joel Davis, alongside Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic-II Kajal and several other traffic police officials. The session was organised to directly engage with regular park visitors, explain the planned traffic diversions, and gather community input prior to putting the new system into operation.

During the interactive session, the senior traffic officers detailed the proposed traffic changes around the KBR Park perimeter and sought practical suggestions and feedback from regular walkers who frequent the area.

As part of the operational guidelines discussed during the meeting, visitors were asked to park their vehicles strictly inside designated parking bays and within the multi-level parking facility. Police officials also urged motorists to completely avoid driving on the wrong side of the road, noting that wrong-side driving remains a critical concern, particularly during early morning hours.

To streamline community feedback, the Traffic Police announced that a QR code would be placed outside KBR Park. Commuters, morning walkers, and regular road users will be able to scan the QR code to submit their suggestions, feedback, and experiences regarding the traffic flow and the new one-way system.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued an appeal to all commuters and KBR Park visitors to follow the revised traffic arrangements and cooperate with traffic personnel deployed on the ground during the implementation and enforcement of the one-way traffic system.
