Hyderabad Top Cop Sajjanar Rides Bike to Inspect KBR Park One-Way Traffic

Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar on Thursday personally inspected the newly implemented one-way traffic policy around KBR Park, traveling on a motorcycle dressed in civilian clothes to directly observe the ground situation like an ordinary citizen.

The commissioner carried out the inspection at 10 a.m. without any fanfare. Dressed in regular clothes, he rode his bike along the designated one-way route twice. His ride began from Road Number 45 and passed through Jubilee Check Post, Venkategiri, the KBR Park main gate, Mugda Junction, Basavatarakam, Agrasen crossroads, and Film Nagar Junction before returning to Road Number 45.

Later in the afternoon, Sajjanar monitored the traffic flow once again. During the inspection, he stopped to interact directly with police personnel on duty at various key spots, including Agrasen crossroads, Film Nagar, Journalist Colony, Jubilee Check Post, and the KBR Park main gate, gathering feedback on on-ground vehicle movement.

Speaking on the occasion, Sajjanar stated that the one-way traffic system around KBR Park is proceeding smoothly. He noted that the new traffic policy was put into effect on Wednesday. Although vehicle drivers experienced some confusion on the first day regarding the route changes, traffic was flowing completely smoothly by Thursday.

The commissioner explained that clear sign boards have been installed at all junctions to prevent inconvenience to vehicle drivers, and adequate police staff has been deployed throughout the stretch.

Sajjanar further stated that steps are being taken in coordination with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the construction agency to complete the H-City project work as quickly as possible. He appealed to city residents to cooperate with the authorities until the project is completed and urged motorists to follow the instructions issued by the Hyderabad traffic police.
