Hyderabad-Rooted Techie K Suhasini Reddy Feared Missing in Nepal Flash Floods

A 44-year-old software engineer based in Australia with roots in LB Nagar, Hyderabad, has gone missing following devastating flash floods that struck the Nepal-Tibet border region on August 26.
The missing techie, identified as K Suhasini Reddy, had returned to Hyderabad earlier this month to attend the house-warming ceremony of a new home in LB Nagar. Following her visit, she embarked on a pilgrimage to Mount Kailash-Manasarovar.
Suhasini departed Hyderabad for Delhi on August 23 and then travelled to Kathmandu. In Nepal, she joined a friend from Australia to continue the pilgrimage journey together.
According to her family members, they last spoke with Suhasini on the evening of August 25. She was scheduled to proceed toward an immigration centre located near the Nepal-China border the next morning, coinciding with the timing of the flash floods that swept through the region.
Her family is currently in contact with authorities to ascertain her whereabouts and has stated that they are prepared to travel to Nepal if necessary. They continue to hope that Suhasini may have been rescued or relocated to a safe place as they await official confirmation.
