Hyderabad residents turning 18 by October 2026 can now apply for electoral roll

The Election Commission has opened the application process for young residents in Hyderabad who will turn 18 years old on or before October 1, 2026, to register themselves in the electoral roll.
Eligible individuals can apply for inclusion by submitting Form 6 alongside a required declaration form. This initiative allows future electors to complete their registration ahead of the eligibility cutoff date.
To acquire the necessary documents, prospective electors can obtain Form 6 and the declaration form directly from their local Booth Level Officer. These officers will provide the forms to residents when they conduct house-to-house enumeration visits across the area.
Once the forms are completed and submitted, the applications will undergo a verification process. The concerned Electoral Registration Officer for each area will process the submissions to determine eligibility.
For those applicants who are verified and found to be eligible, their names will be officially included in the final electoral roll. This process ensures that young citizens who are approaching the voting age of 18 by the October 2026 deadline are registered and able to participate in future elections.
