Hyderabad Records 97.47% Attendance in NEET-PG 2026 Examination

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2026 was conducted smoothly and successfully across four examination centres in Hyderabad district on Sunday.
A total of 990 candidates were allotted to the four centres across the district. The examination recorded an overall attendance of 97.47%, with 25 candidates remaining absent during the test.
Hyderabad District Collector Priyanka Ala visited and inspected the NEET-PG examination centre located at Innovision Technologies in Secunderabad to review the arrangements made for the test.
During her inspection in Secunderabad, Ms. Ala examined the centre's infrastructure, security measures, the functioning of signal jammers, and the deployment of flying and sitting squads. She also assessed the frisking procedures implemented for candidates before they entered the examination halls.
Additionally, the District Collector reviewed basic amenities and support facilities arranged for aspirants, including the availability of emergency medicines, proper sanitation, and arrangements for uninterrupted power supply throughout the examination hours.
At the Innovision Technologies centre in Secunderabad, a total of 170 candidates had been allotted, out of which seven candidates were recorded as absent.
Ms. Ala directed the appointed officials and examination staff to remain vigilant and ensure that all exam procedures were concluded strictly in compliance with the guidelines prescribed by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
