Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju held a video conference with District Collectors on Tuesday to review preparations and logistics for the smooth conduct of the NEET (PG) examination scheduled for August 30.

During the meeting, Hyderabad District Collector Priyanka Ala instructed officials to make comprehensive arrangements across the district. Four examination centres have been established in Hyderabad, where approximately 990 registered candidates are set to appear for the test.

The examination will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Candidates have been advised to reach their designated examination venues by 7 a.m. to facilitate timely entry and formalities.

Mr. Jaju directed officials across districts to ensure meticulous arrangements and strict adherence to examination guidelines. He instructed collectors to personally inspect the venues to verify basic amenities, including cleanliness, uninterrupted power supply, and drinking water facilities.

The Chief Secretary also emphasised the need for adequate transport and traffic management measures so that candidates can reach their test centres without facing delays or difficulties.

District officials were further directed to coordinate police security, handle candidate frisking protocols, maintain sanitation across all premises, and guarantee continuous power supply throughout the examination period.
