Hyderabad Police Meet KBR Park Walkers Over New One-Way Traffic Plan

The Hyderabad traffic police held an open discussion on Friday with regular visitors and morning walkers at KBR Park to discuss the upcoming implementation of a one-way traffic system scheduled to take effect from August 18.

The interactive meeting was led by Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Joel Davis along with Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-II) Kajal and other traffic police officers and staff. During the session, police officials briefed attendees on the upcoming traffic modifications designed for the area.

Officials specifically requested all park visitors and commuters to extend their full cooperation to ensure the smooth rollout of the new arrangements. Walkers were urged to park their vehicles exclusively in designated parking bays and the multilevel parking facility rather than obstructing nearby roads.

The traffic police also emphasized the importance of avoiding wrong-side driving, pointing out that such violations frequently take place during the early morning hours when park footfall is high. Visitors were instructed to strictly adhere to the revised traffic arrangements and directions issued by on-duty personnel.

In addition to outlining the proposed rules, the police department invited suggestions and feedback from the KBR Park walking community. To facilitate public input, authorities announced that a QR code will be set up in front of KBR Park, allowing citizens to easily submit their feedback and recommendations regarding the arrangements.

Traffic officials reiterated that cooperation from park visitors and motorists will be essential to ensure the successful execution of the one-way traffic management system once it is enforced on August 18.
