Hyderabad Police Issue Traffic Diversions Around Darussalam for Milad-un-Nabi

The Hyderabad traffic police have issued a traffic advisory announcing several route diversions around Darussalam and nearby Charminar in view of the Milad-un-Nabi public meeting scheduled to take place on Tuesday evening. The regulatory measures will take effect from 6 pm to minimise congestion, prevent travel delays, and ensure the smooth flow of vehicular movement across the area.

According to the advisory, the Milad-un-Nabi public meeting, also referred to as the Darussalam Jalsa, is scheduled to commence at 6 pm at Darussalam. In anticipation of increased vehicular movement, commuters have been advised to plan their journeys, avoid the affected corridors, and use designated alternate roads.

The police have mapped out specific diversions for traffic approaching Darussalam from various parts of the city. Under the advisory, vehicles moving from Malakunta and Begum Bazar Chatri towards Darussalam Road will be diverted at Alaska T-Junction towards MJ Bridge and MJ Market.

Commuters travelling from Mallepally X Road, Boiguda Kaman, and Mangalhat will be diverted at Aghapura X Road to proceed towards Takkarwadi and Charminar. Additionally, traffic coming from Seetharambagh and Mangalhat will be rerouted at Aghapura Junction towards Charkandil.

Further diversions will be enforced for traffic originating from Bazar Ghat and Taj Island, which will be redirected at Ek Minar towards Bazar Ghat and Nampally Railway Station Road. Motorists travelling from Mehdipatnam and Asifnagar heading towards Darussalam will be diverted at Mallepally X Road towards Gokul Nagar and Bazar Ghat.

The traffic police have also issued specific instructions regarding parking for the event. Attendees visiting the Darussalam Jalsa have been urged to park their vehicles only at designated parking spaces near the venue to maintain orderly movement and prevent traffic snarls in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
