Hyderabad Police Enforce One-Way Traffic Around KBR Park for Flyover Work

Hyderabad traffic police on Tuesday morning enforced continuous one-way vehicular movement around KBR Park in the heart of the city to facilitate the construction of a series of flyovers and underpasses.
On the first day of the new traffic arrangement, commuters struggled to navigate the stretch that rings the sprawling national park. The changes caused consternation during peak office hours, with usual entry and exit points restricted, leaving motorists circling the area as they attempted to find their routes.
Traffic police personnel were deployed at key junctions along the corridor to manage vehicle flow and guide drivers as congestion surfaced at various points. Commuters who had not participated in earlier trial runs experienced greater disruption amid the altered routing.
Police officials noted that initial disruption was expected while the public adjusts to the new system. A senior police official stated that personnel remain on the ground to direct motorists and expressed confidence that vehicular movement would become streamlined within a day or two as drivers become familiar with the route map.
