Hyderabad Police Bust Illegal Mini Gas Cylinder Racket, Four Arrested

The Rajendranagar Zone Task Force has busted an illegal mini gas cylinder manufacturing and transportation network in Hyderabad, arresting four persons across two separate cases. Police seized a total of 750 mini gas cylinders, one car, and seven manufacturing machines during operations in Gagan Pahad and Rajapur village.

Acting on a tip-off, police officials initially intercepted a car at Gagan Pahad. During the search, officers recovered 400 mini gas cylinders and took Mohd Abdul Hannan into custody. Based on information provided during his confession, the Task Force subsequently arrested two more individuals, identified as Mohd Bholesha and Mohd Shakeel.

The follow-up investigation led the police team to an illegal manufacturing unit operating at Rajapur village. During the raid on the unit, officials apprehended Mohd Dilshad and seized an additional 350 mini gas cylinders along with seven manufacturing machines used in the illegal operation.

Across the two actions, law enforcement confiscated a total of 750 cylinders, the transport vehicle, and the machinery. Official cases have been registered at the RGIA and Rajendranagar police stations.
